FAQ’s
What is Delta 9 THC?
- When people refer to "THC," they're usually talking about Delta 9 THC, or delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol. THC is one of over 100 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, which includes both marijuana and hemp.
- Delta 9 is more abundant in cannabis than Delta 8 or Delta 10, allowing it to be naturally extracted, while the others require synthetic processes. This makes Delta 9 products, like Snoozy, more natural, with fewer additives.
- Snoozy Delta 9 products are hemp-derived and considered federally compliant under the 2018 Farm Bill.
What is a Cannabinoid?
A cannabinoid is a naturally occurring compound found in the cannabis plant. These compounds interact with the body's endocannabinoid system, which helps regulate various functions like mood, sleep, pain, and appetite. There are over 100 different cannabinoids, with the most well-known being THC and CBD. Each cannabinoid has unique effects on the body
What is CBD?
- Cannabidiol (CBD) is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients found in cannabis. Unlike THC, CBD is the non-psychoactive portion of the plant known for its relaxing and calming effects.
- CBD is considered non-psychoactive, which means it does not produce the mind-altering high like THC does.
- The CBD found in Snoozy gummies are derived from legal US hemp grown by licensed farmers.
What is CBN?
- Cannabinol (CBN), also known as the “sleepy cannabinoid”, is derived from oxidized THC.
- CBN is considered non-psychoactive, which means it does not produce the mind-altering high like THC does.
- The CBN found in Snoozy gummies are derived from legal US hemp grown by licensed farmers.
What is CBG?
- CBG, or cannabigerol, is a cannabinoid found in cannabis plants and is often referred to as the "mother of cannabinoids.” This is because CBG is a precursor to other cannabinoids, such as THC and CBD, which are derived from it as the plant matures.
- CBG is known for its potential health benefits, including possible anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and neuroprotective properties. It’s commonly used in wellness products to support focus, mood, and overall balance
- CBG is considered non-psychoactive, which means it does not produce the mind-altering high like THC does.
- The CBG found in Snoozy gummies are derived from legal US hemp grown by licensed farmers
What is the difference between cannabis-derived and hemp-derived THC?
Cannabis and hemp are basically siblings from the same plant family (Cannabis sativa), but their legal status is what sets them apart. Hemp has less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC and is federally legal, while cannabis is any plant that has a higher Delta-9 THC content, and is federally illegal. But here's the kicker: Delta-9 THC is the same compound, whether it’s from hemp or cannabis.
How is this legal?
- Our gummies are fully compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill, making it federally legal to purchase Delta 9 THC as long as it contains less than 0.3% THC by dry weight.
- All Snoozy Delta 9 products meet this standard, containing up to 10 mg of THC per gummy, well below the legal limit.
Is it legal everywhere?
Close! We currently ship everywhere in the continental US except the following states: Alaska, District of Columbia, Idaho, Kansas, Washington
Does delta 9 get you high?
- When people talk about THC, they are mainly talking about the Delta 9 variant of THC. If you ingest enough THC, you will feel the "high" feeling associated with it. Our gummies range from 2mg to 10 mg of THC, so a high will be felt if you ingest a full gummy.
- We also offer THC-Free options for those who want to reap the benefits without the buzz.
What is the difference between Delta 9 and Delta 8?
Delta 8 THC is also naturally occurring in hemp, but at much lower concentrations when compared to Delta 9 THC. Because of this, we can create products with Delta 9 THC without having to synthetically recreate it, which makes Snoozy products less manufactured and more potent.
Is Delta 9 bad?
We think Delta 9 THC can be good for many people. However, just like in anything in life, there can be too much of a good thing. We recommend sticking to our serving sizes to avoid any negative effects, but you can adjust your serving as needed. Slow and steady wins the race!
What are the potential benefits of delta 9?
Delta 9 THC is known for its potential to help with relaxation, pain relief, and improved sleep. It may also enhance mood and stimulate appetite, which can benefit those with appetite loss. Many users find that Delta 9 promotes a sense of euphoria and stress relief, though effects vary by individual.
Does delta 9 show up on a drug test?
Our Delta 9 products do contain THC, which can show up on a drug test. This may result in a consumer who is being tested for marijuana to fail a drug test.
How many gummies should I take?
A recommended serving of Snoozy depends on the consumer, but we recommend taking 1 gummy to start and 1 - 2 gummies for optimal effects.
